Greenwich Historical Society: Behind the Scenes Archival Collections: Ephemera

Don’t miss an exciting opportunity to see behind the scenes at the Library and Archives! Join us for a docent-led tour of our collection processing and storage areas and a guided look at some specific collections of interest. Tours take place every Friday & Saturday at noon, 1:30 and 3:00 pm, registration recommended.

December tours feature our collection of ephemera. The word “ephemera” is defined as “items of collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed ones, that were expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity. Join us for a peek into the Ephemera Collection where we will view and discuss items with meaning and value that has turned out to be far from ephemeral.
